Creaking noises when you press the brake hard while stopped? First I'd take the calipers off & check the caliper slide pins. Maybe they need grease? Clean up the crud & make sure the pads move nice in the caliper brackets - they shouldn't be wedged in tightly. Then maybe the anti-rattle springs or something? See if there's anyplace rubbing that could use a little grease or anti-seize??

Shaking while driving - have the rotors resurfaced. If they're so bad you need new ones, the shop's supposed to refuse to resurface them...
