When you call a dealership out of the blue that's called a "bell call." Usually bell calls just go to whoever picks up the phone, so you're just as likely to get the best salesman there as the worst.

Also, turnover among car salesman is so high that one bad experience 7 years ago should really have no bearing on whether or not you make the trip.

If you haven't gone to this Paragon place before, I'd suggest going with their internet department. That's always the easiest way to deal with a dealership. The reasoning behind it is that the people savvy enough to get a deal with the internet department would be pain in the ass customers and take all your gross anyway, so better to just give em the best deal you'll do right away and get em in and out right quick.

So hit up paragonacura.com and check out their used inventory. They list two TSXes, one for $23995 and one for $22995. No idea if they have navigation, but just email them through the "contact us" link and they should get back to you. Most dealerships have specific internet-only staff and run everything on a no-haggle basis. So you email em and ask if either car has navi, and if yes then you make an appointment with them to check out the car. You go in, they have a salesman show you the car, the price is already set and you decide to either go for it or not. The only negotiating you'll have to deal with is in the finance office.

So I'd say go the internet route with this new dealer, and to give yourself some ammo in the finance office you should get preapproved for some kind of financing. At the very worst you end up with that finance rate, or the dealer will try and beat it. That makes the negotiating really easy because you won't have to grind on the finance guy to give you a better rate--he's gonna have to come down to whatever it is you're preapproved for.
