Ack! I hate pickle forks. They're evil.
Save yourself $6 and some time... just whack the side of the lower ball joint with a big hammer once, then lift the whole hub assembly out. That's really all it takes, and you won't risk damaging the LBJ boot. If it's stubborn, jack up the rotor a bit first, then whack it once more. *pop* That trick works on almost every import.
But great jorb! If you ever need to separate tie rods or steering knuckles, the fork will come in very handy because those joints like to get very stuck.
