I probably could have done it without touching the ball joints and damper forks, but really they were no sweat, the hardest part was I had to go to Schuck's and rent a ball joint remover for $6. If you don't remove the driveshafts it is going to make it a lot harder to put back together, at least for me anyway. If i had to do it again and i had a chain hoist, i'd skip it.
