Default cold dying battery needs advice

I've had problems starting my 2000 accord (52k miles) over the last week since it's been really cold. It take about 3-5 cranks to get it going, w/ my foot half way on the gas. I know if I can hold out till the spring I'll be good till next winter.
Just wondering if this will damage my starter or alternator, and end up cost me in the long run?
