Well of course its gonna sit straight unless ur car is on...I had the same symptoms, got it corrected with new springs and struts. Just check to see if ur car is lower on the side that is sliding towards to compared to the other side.
There is nothing wrong with my suspension (in my opinion), besides a lot of miles and normal wear.
This problem has got to be something with the steering. When the car is in park and sitting still at idle the steering wheel will turn by itself all the way to the right. Then when I turn the engine off the steering will center... engine back on and it goes to the right... engine off, back to the center... all while the car is in park and not moving. This has got to be something with the steering rack and/or power steering assist.
