The suspension is crap, but I doubt that has much to do with it because the problem only occurs when the engine is running. I can be going down the road at 40 mph with the steering pulling EXTREMELY hard to the right and while still moving when I turn the engine off the car straights up on it's own and is easy to steer.
Well of course its gonna sit straight unless ur car is on...I had the same symptoms, got it corrected with new springs and struts. Just check to see if ur car is lower on the side that is sliding towards to compared to the other side.
