Here's my experiences with few different springs

sprint springs (eclipse spyder GS-T) very bouncy,
H&R springs (00 civic SI) decent ride,
cheap coilovers (00 civic EX and 00 civic SI) very bouncy,
ground control coilovers (95 GS-R) decent ride,
cut springs (00 civic EX) nightmare,
ractive coilovers (eclipse GS-T) very bouncy,
pro-kits (eclipse GS-T and eclipse GS) awesome ride and look
Tein springs (eclipse GS-T) very nice ride, goofy look and feel.

I love the Pro-kits. H&R had a good ride as well. On my last GS-T, I started with ractive coilovers, then switched to Tein S Tech springs, which felt just like stock, but seemed higher in the front than the rear so I ditched them and went with what I knew was good, the Eibach Pro-kits. I teamed them up with KYB AGX struts and I loved it. I'm saving up to do the same to my GS-R right now although I might try out the sportline springs.

Ebay had the best deals that I found for the KYB AGX struts. I saved about $50-$70 total.
