I have encountered this problem for a while now and it has gotten worse: when my car sits for a period of time and I go to start it, it will not even turn over. There is a fast clicking noise near my left foot under the kick panel and the instrument lights dim. It has come to the point where I have to hope it will engage the starter for about 5 minutes before it decides to start. THis started a few days ago and happened very seldom but now it happens everytime I decide to start the car. Could this be a main relay that is shot and needs to be replaced? I just want to make sure before I go over to Honda and shell out $50 for a new one. Also, how hard is it to replace?
