Good point. Not really much use for bigger exhaust without an aftermarket header though. I could put it off until the rebuild. Will probably do it before the turbo, though.
Still, a B-series is still a bit overkill for the application. Remember, I just want it to be more fun to drive (and gotta' have turbo). Could still get some good performance from a D16. I've considered a mini me conversion, but still so many miles on the block.
If I were to swap in a B18B1 I'd want to go all out and I'd end up turning a hobby project into an obsession.
