In a hit and run, the deductible will apply, if you knew the person who did it, they would just subrogate against their insurance policy obviously. Same with a comprehensive claim. If you know who vandalized your car, your insurance company will waive the deductable and get the money back from that person.
Dude that depends on you policy i guess... Cause the policy i have is in any case of a hit and run i dont have any deductible. And I do not have collision on my car either, that mean that if i have an accident that was my fault my insurance will pay for repairs for the other party but not on my own car. If however I am NOT at fault they(the other party insurance) will pay for both cars.
