what are your actual compression numbers? How much oil do you burn? white smoke means you're burning coolant (head gasket), blue smoke means oil (time for new rings/pistons and possibly sleeves) its sometimes hard to tell white from blue
get a leakdown test. Theres a good chance your ring/ringlands may be shot, my car had the same problem when my cylinder 2 was really scored and i needed new ringlands (car would stall out often at red lights). Check your oil, if it smells at all like gasoline then i'm probably right about the bottom end problems. Your oil and coolant will be milky if its a head gasket problem.
In the meantime you can try raising the idle so you dont stall out at lights.
