an LSD is the FWD equivalent of a POSI on a RWD car.
it simply means both front wheels are forced to spin at nearly equal speeds, technically the "same" amount of TQ is spread between both front wheels.

Actually No. Power wont be spread over evenly.
A LSD basically puts more power to the wheel with more grip, where if you didn't have a LSD more of the power goes to the wheel with less grip.

In the snow a LSD is amust. Unless you like going nowhere
