Synthetic oil - Mobil 1 or Valvoline .....Redline or Amsoil...

The only way to go, the whole "leaking" garbage.... only if the engine was leaking to begin with. I've ran synthetic in so many "high mileage" engines now, and have been nothing but pleased with the results. Ocassionally I found a new leak, but patched it up and life was good.
