What is said is all true. They are a spoiled bunch of civilians in uniform. There boot camp is like summercamp , 6 weeks is a joke. I have not yet come across any Air Force personel that I can respect. No discipline , no respect for their officers , out of shape , and so on.
Sorry if it seems like Im detering you from joining the AF , but whatever you choose will be good for you in a way. It all depends how much of a challenge your willing to undertake. I just wish more kids would sign up so they can grow up and learn some respect.

Thats pretty much the order of the branches in regards to most like a 9-5 day to day civilian job to not a job, but a way of life.
Air Force employs airmen, Navy employs sailors and the Army has soldiers. The Marines are the only branch that doesn't have a name like that. You're a Marine.
Allthough the Marines show respect to the officers, they generally don't like them. Good officers are just too few and far between. Unfortuatly they focus more on their career instead of their men. USMC doesn't work well like that.
