I don't know about power but my friend has noticed has back did run a tad stronger.... maybe smoother? With my bike, my average temp is around 174 degrees(assuming I am not in stop and go traffic) but I have a 600. But hey, be lucky you don't have a V-twin. Those run a bit hotter than the inline 4s. heh
