i use Earls, they were about $100, but the pedal is definitely firmer. I got mine here:

they were simple to install, added about 10 mins to my brake job time, since i installed them when upgrading to 11" (93-01) VTEC rotors, and BB1 calipers. So i had to bleed the calipers anyway, it worked out great.
