let me just start by saying 'wtf?'
okay. so you're telling me that the lowest lowering springs you can find are supposed to give a 1.25" drop? where are you shopping?
second of all, don't ever buy anything by ractive ever again.
ok, back to the first thing. i dunno where you're shopping for springs, but there are a metric ass ton of lowering springs available for civics. the most common ones are made by eibach, H&R/neuspeed, tein, progress, etc.
eibach springs come in a few different configurations, with the most common being the pro-kit (1.3" drop) and the sportline which is 1.8".
H&R and neuspeed are very similar. i believe the spring rates on H&Rs are slightly higher but i am not certain. H&R OE/Neuspeed sofsports drop apprx .75", the sports are about 1.75 front and 1.5 rear, and the race are 2.5 front and 2.25 rear.
i had H&R sports on my teg, and H&R race on my del sol. i currently have eibach pro kit on my 91 hatch, but come spring, new struts and H&R race are going on.
anyway, yeah. moral of the story, don't buy anything by ractive/obx/apc/nonameebayshit. especially on suspension parts.
btw, welcome to han :hi:
