The only S2000 antenna I've ever seen on an ITR was the stubby rubber one. It doesn't have a motor.
It works OK and doesn't look too bad. However, if your car is a normal everyday driver, think about keeping the ITR antenna.
My daily driver is an EP3 with a stubby OEM antenna. My ITR with its OEM motorised antenna will pick up remote stations much better than the EP3.
O another one is should I really upgrade my cool air intake? will an AEM intake decrease horsepower???
On a basically stock ITR, an AEM is probably not the best choice.
Comptech Icebox, J's Racing, Mugen and even a cheap short intake all show gains where the AEM does not. The J's Racing and cheap filter on a stick will probably increase noise noticeably. The Comptech Icebox is rather quiet for an aftermarket CAI.
And my last questian is I really like my stock exhaust, so is there like a specific header out there that will fit to my stock exhaust?? instead of the standard [2.5''].
There are two cheap headers that give a decent HP gain for the little amount of money spent: the OEM JDM 4-1 and the DC (JDM) 4-1.
With the OEM JDM 4-1 you can even use the factory heat shield to disguise the fact that you even have a header.
These will not bolt up directly to your USDM exhaust; however, Mkteller8 and Dave at SMSProducts both have Carsound cats that will mate your JDM header to your USDM exhaust.
You will not get the maximum you
could get if you keep the USDM exhaust, but you will get gains that will be noticeable in everyday use, even without any tuning.
Both Dave Stadulis and Mike Teller sell bolt-on 2.5" exhausts that can be made as quiet as you want, and they don't cost all that much.
