You mean what's the difference?

96 Spec has 4x114 bolt pattern (Accord/Prelude) instead of the 5x114 bolt pattern of the DC2 ITR USDM and DC5, et al.

96 Spec has the USDM 4.40 axle ratio instead of the later JDM 4.78 axle ratio.

The JDM 96 Spec motor is identical to the JDM 98 Spec motor; however, there is evidence that the famous OEM JDM 4-1 header with 2.5" was only on 98 Spec.

There is probably a small difference in the rear calipers.

Is that the kind of thing you mean?
