Yeah, I took the upper half of my air box off first just for the initial install, but then later on I decided that I wanted the whole thing (resonator) out of there. I thought maybe more air would come up in through that opening in the chassis.
The piping is super easy, as is the removal of the box and OEM type drop in filter.
The resonator wraps around through the opening I mentioned earlier and is a little tougher...
I know this isn't a DIY but I just wanted to give you some more ideas to build on.
