yeah redlining really doesnt do anything any good, though it may sound kinda cool, if you look up the specs I think the f22 makes max HP at 5300rpm anything after that you're actually losing power....So you're not doing anything but wasting gas, increasing engine wear, and slowing yourself down....
I was just asking where the redline, (I should of said rev limiter), was at, but since now we're talking about shift points, I like to shift right before the limit, say like 6500rpm cause when I speed shift I could throw it into gear before it hits the limiter, I know the powerband but I just like to keep my rpms up, besides I don't even race my accord, Im waiting until I get my H22 in a couple of months, so I could care less if I blow this motor, which I won't cause Honda's last forever. I used to run my RSX T-S-(R.I.P, Accident) to 8600rpm all day and never had 1 problem.
