inline pro head gasket will cure pretty much any detonation you might have because it drops static compression about 1 full point.

I used it on my turbo motor for over 2 years with no issues. I ran 17psi on race/pump mix and 15psi daily on this motor and it was a bone stock ITR block with 92k miles on it.

I say turbo it. I actually have a FMU fuel system for sale if you need it cheap all you will need is a fuel pump. people say it doesn't work but it will hold 400-500whp on a stock block with the head gasket above. this has been proven by inline pro. the fuel set up I used is 450cc injectors, afc, FMU, missing link and 255lph pump. timing was at 13 degrees at the distrib.

ps- don't run RC injectors. they are pintal type injectors with horrible spray patterns and sometimes the pintals stick and make you either run rich or lean and either is bad
