i can tell you right now that the only way you beat a V6 mustang is if it was an auto pre '99 stang, and you have a manual tranny and know how to drive it well...i'd put money down that my '88 2.3 stang would take you on w/o much trouble...now im not going to start a honda vs ford thing here, i just know that a buddy of mine has a '98 lx civic auto and it didnt stand a chance with me in my 5speed stang, and it is by far not a fast car.
