i would try a good old service,
1) OIL AND FILTER
2) fuel filter
2) air filter
4) spark plugs
5) ht leads
6) dont know if it has a coil pack or a dizzy but if dizzy then clean all contacts.


also check your base timing. has the timing belt been changed recently.
