Its weird with this oil thing, 5000, 10,000, etc. you dont know anymore. My fathers 96 Civic Hatch has 150,xxx miles on it and all he does is change oil every 2000 miles. The car runs like a champ, no problems at all.

Ill do the first change around 5000 or so, if it burns enough oil, ill do it at that time. As long as its good for the car, its good for me.
