First off, your compression numbers are wrong. 2nd, they are displayed in your little chart backwards. A thinner headgasket will yield higher compression, not the other way around.


With USDM ITR pistons in your LS, you'll be at 10.8:1 compression...perfectly ok for pump gas. With the right tuning, I've seen 12:1 compression on 91 octane safely, daily driven.
