i had my tranny go... and thats what it did, shifting started getting hard and grinding, then it started poping out of 5th (syncors) then it started poping out of 3rd... and on the way to the shop my tranny froze at 55mph and locked my fron wheel... it was bad. it cost nearly 400 to get the tranny in but for a new tranny which is probably a good idea if you really want the car to be with you a while, its gonna be $1,000+. hope that helps
also try seaching the fourm cause there are a few i know of that talk about good and bad in using the H22 tranny with F series engine
