Did you check to see if the dizzy would spin all the way around befor you installed it? I always check new and reman stuff, especialy dizzy's, the place I get them from sprays a coating of a clearcoat type of stuff in them, to keep them from corodeing, and somtimes it can lock up the vacuum advance, or make it so the thing dont want to spin freely, I dont know how you installed it, so cant say you did it wrong? Just bad luck man.... Good luck with finding another one.. This time you might want to have somone else install it, so when they crank it over they pay you instead of you paying them... lol....
