I have some brichures with hard data but I don't understand most of it so maybe I will post it and you can decide.

Check out the main site.

You guys can let me know if you are interested in buying a case at a time (since it would'nt be cost effective for him to send four quarts) and I can get some prices. I ended saving about $2.50 a quart vs. Mobil 1 which is why I will switch for good if I'm satisfied. Like I said, in his opinion (which seems to be honest) Mobil 1 and the other "true" pure synthetics are comparable to Schaeffer's sythetic but the price difference is the main thing due to teh fact that they don't spend millions on TV and magazine ads. Hell, I drive over 100 miles a day and change the oil in my protege once a month so the savings are key to me as long as quality is not sacrificed. Oh, shit, I forgot he also told me Royal purple is the real deal and has great additives. he said it's the absolute best but is very expensive. He explained to me that most drag race teams don't really care about the quality of the oil because almost any brand name oil will stand up to the short drag race bursts considering they tear the motor down so often. He said the road race teams are the ones that put so much R&D into motor oils due to the high RPM, high temp conditions. I on the other hand have too many cars to change the oil on so if I can get quality for a better price then I'm all for it.
