i ran 12 psi on my completely stock internal ITR for a long time an had no problems. tuning is key, as posted before. when my car dynoed i hit 270 with 12 PSI on stock internals. all i had done was msd, and minor fuel tuning. with 9:1 compression u should be able to push 14-16psi with correct tuning.
