Definitely a "show" car, but well, who cares? Cars is cars. At least it gets driven. And courtesy of its owner my car now has a fresh new coil pack in it.
Oh, and Mazda designers are a bunch of sonsabitches for putting the coil pack on the back of the valve cover right next to the firewall. It took forever to get the damn thing out. Mostly Josh placing a particular wrench on a particular bolt because I couldn't rearch, and then me muscling it out. After finally getting the old one out it took maybe 5 minutes to put the new one in and get everything around it put back together.
And yeah the garage was pretty nice. Plenty of room, fluorescent shop lights that pull down from the ceiling, lots of Snap-On tools.
Mike......SUPPOSEDLY??? Did u see that big snail shell in the engine bay? or were u blinded by the bling?
Don't forget about my all favorite impacts and air hammers
Was a good learning experience, I've never really worked on a Mazda before......mostly Chevy or Toyota..........so was fun to do, even if I did get my nice soft banker hands dirty
