Default I got into a car wreck yesterday, need some help...

I was driving home and I took a glance at the rearview mirror, I saw the car behind me swithching lanes and it made me curious, I look back down and there was a Mustang right in front of me. Only thing I could do was swerve but it was too late. I hit it once in the back and the car swerve back around to hit it again in the front.

I think I hit my head on the window somehow as there's a crack and my head hurts. My ears popped during the wreck too and I scraped my arm on something too.

People in the other car was okay. The owner was the passenger and his friend was driving. The police gave me a ticket for "Fail to divote full attention." I don't even know how much it'll cost for the ticket, not to mention the towing, and then the rise in insurance.

I'm so lost I don't even know what to do. My parents took it pretty well. How do I find the ticket price?

The thing is though, I saw no cars in front of me prior to looking in the mirror. I don't know where they came from.

I need to know something. Okay, when I had gotten out of the car, the owner of the car was in the passenger seat and his friend/sister was driving. Just now, I called and he said he was the driver. I pointed out to him that I saw the female as the driver. He say the crashed bumped the two around and she ended up in his lap. That's just not possible, because if she ended up on his lap, he'd be on the bottom, so why would someone on the bottom be able to transfer to the other seat?
