y7/y8 compression seems to be zero'ing in somewhere around 9:7 - 9:9:1
This can't be right. The Z6 head has a much larger combustion chamber than the Y8, just look at them!
Both the Z6 and Y7 head have the same volume, so a swap would keep the stock 9.6:1 compression ratio. The Y8 has a 9.6:1 as well, but has pistons with a greater dish and quench pads in the head. The mini me would put you up over 10:1 for sure. I think this would work out well, the flow on the Y7 SUCKS. Talk to BauleyCivic over on H-T, he has a mini-me (D15B7/D16Z6) boosted, and he might have some tips for you.
