you need a socket set, philips head screw driver, a flat head screw driver, and a utlitily knife.

start by removing the two front seats by removing the 4 bolts on the bottom of them. then remove the back seat cushion(the part that you sit on) by removing the one 10mm bolt in the middle in the back(where the seat cushion meats the seat back), you kind of have to search but its there. then lift up from the back of the seat cushion and unhook the front and remove the entire cushion. then start with the center console by removing the 2 philips head screws on the on the rear of the console. then by the e-brake there is a panel that can be popped up with the flat head screw driver and remove the two philips head screws under it. then lift up the console(with the e-brake up) and remove it. then remove the panel around the shifter by popping it up, then remove the 2 screws on each side(passenger and driver side) of the console. then remove the ash tray, and look inside. there should be 3 philips head screws, leave the middle one in and remove the others. then pull on the whole assembly by pulling on it lightly, and remove the one electrical connector. then remove the two philips head screws that are at the upper corners of the opening. then remove the whole front center console. then under the dash, in the center where the floor vents are, there should be a black plastic housing where the SRS computer is. remove this protective cover by unclipping it, i don't remember what type of clips they are but i think there is some kind of trick to them. once thats removed, open all 4 doors. then remove the door sills(when you open the door, its the plastic part on the bottom) by popping them up. the front two are attached to the carpet so just leave those attached to the carpet. then on the center beams on the side of the car(the part between the front and back doors), the front seat belts come out of the lower plastic panel. where they come out, there is a screw behind the belt, remove it. then the whole plastic panel pops out. once all this is done, take you utility knife and make slits in the carpet where the carpet crosses the center of the car, under the center console only. i think its about 3 or 4 small slits you need to make, and make sure to make a slit where the carpet goes under the dash in the very front. then the carpet should lift out. i may have forgotten some things but this is the bulk of the work. hopes this helps.
