if you decide to lower the car you'll have to make a decision if you what to get a spring/shock combo, or if you want to get a full coiloversetup. you could get a decent reasonably priced set of springs like Eibach, Tein, and Neuspeed to name a few. shocks you could get Koni, blistien, tokiko(I think I butchered the spelling). with coilovers Tien, and Apexi are pretty good. option auto salon is having a clearance on the Apexi coilovers for just around $500. that's an amazing deal by the way, they normally go for $700-900. a spring/shock would run you around $400-$700 depending on what you decide.
