You have to be able to handle any situation regardless of whether its a job, a forum or anything. I deal with jerks all day on the phone, I've lost my cool and said stuff only to have my boss remind me that I will have to start looking for a new job if I don't behave diplomatically.

Just stop. You don't know me in person, let alone in a job setting. I know how to handle myself with customers. I've worked retail and customer service jobs before. I dealt with elderly people calling, yellng at me b/c somethnig was on their bill that they didnt think shouldve been. I dealt with angry customers and impatient customers all the time. I never, ONCE, lost my job b/c of my personality, attitude, temper..whatever.

And to remind, I'm a massage therapist..which means that i have to deal with people on a more intimate level than just sitting behind a desk talking to them on the phone. My clients have to feel comfortable with me, after all...i am touching them and seeing them in a very vulnerable manner. Not anyone can do what i do. Whether it's my mom, my best friend, or a stranger, i still treat each client who lays on my table the same way.
