That was before...hehehe...Enkei Zoku's 17x7 45mm...no rubs, no rolling of fenders...

Sounds like you're heavily cambered and that's why your car has trouble keeping straight...raise it up a little (or bump the fenders) and camber-kit it back to about negative one to two degrees and you should be good...
I have Neuspeed sport springs and Tokico blue struts, the rims have 42 mm offset. Not like when the alignment is bad, but only when going fast it doesn't like to hold still, think it has to do with the fact that I have 40 serires tires. Since I got the new rims and tires it's been alot easier to steer at lower speeds also.
