so you want the clock to light up blue instead of green? i think you'll have to open up the clock to see what's going on inside. you have to figure out if the clock numbers are naturally green, or white, or what. if there's a green film that's removable, you may be able to replace it with some blue film. i've never opened the clock up before, so that's all i can offer. good luck!

edit: that is for a 5th gen. for a 6th gen, you can replace the light bulb with a blue LED. check out this site for a kit you can buy:
