Depends on what kind of riding you want to do. Shorter boards are better for freestyle, longer boards are better for carving and extreme terrain, deep snow, etc.
exactly, I ride alot of powder not so much freestyle, so I use a slightly wider and longer board than I would at the park. for that I use my other board
