My CEL comes on randomly when driving. It'll stay on for anywhere from a second or two to maybe thirty seconds, and then turn off. While the CEL is on, the ECU doesn't throw any codes. There is no noticeable change in performance, and all the gauges operate fine while the CEL is on. So, I'm suspicious that there is a short in the CEL circuit. Does this seem likely to anybody else? Or is there a sensor which can be sporadically problematic like this? Thanks.
