Dont focus so much on the MP number. Companies use the MP number to draw in unknowing customers. Kinda of like just looking at the HP number for cars. If you can, see if you can dig up info on how big the CCD is. Cramming 5MP into a small CCD will not net better pics than 4MP on a bigger CCD.
