This camera was released as a Pro-sumer camera. Top of the line consumer camera. I believe it's starting price was $999 and aimed at people with large budgets that want a good picture and stuff. Think nightshade, 4 years ago Serously, this is a camera someone like him was aimed at.

I've used one of these and it's great to work with and took great shots.

I'd love to have it... but it's just too much $$$ for me right now durring the xmas season.
