alright here's the deal with that. the stock radio is tucked deep inside the dash from the factory, and its really only a little plate with the controls on it that you see in the dash, there is no radio behind it. When your deck was installed, they probably used the wrong wiring harness. on 96-98 civics, their are 2 different harnesses, one for keyless entry, one for non-keyless entry. on the 99-00 civic, they changed the keyless entry system.
