Default Spark plugs and wires

I haven't seen this discussed yet so here it goes. I have read that the all copper NGK plugs are supposed to increase power on a gsr like 2-3 horsepower due to their higher conductivity over the platinum plugs that are stock. Has anyone else heard this or has experience with this. I know the platinums are more a point of durability then power production. i really dont mind changing my plugs every year if it makes more power. Also any good plug wire sets?
