"Ten ponies" doesn't really say enough.

The head's different, it has ITR cams, and the computer's different. IIRC some internal parts are different, too, meaning the pistons and rods are from the ITR and the whole thing just revs better and faster.

If you put a graph of a stock K20A2 over a graph of a stock K20Z1, you'd be impressed at the differences and how much more under the curve there is in the Z1 chart.

I can't stop saying enough good things about how Honda/Acura listened to what needed to be different about the DC5 and how they actually acted on it.
