Anyone performed this on thier own? I think my 5th gen would look alot better w/o the molding. Im thinking it wouldn't be too difficult to perform this. Remove the moldings, remove the inner door panel and plastic to access the inside of the door. Lay a strip or two of fiberglass on the inside of the door covering the holes where the moldings mounted. Then sand down the area where the moldings were, bondo, sand some more, primer,paint and enjoy your finished product. Sounds easy but has anyone done it themselves?
