the subs are dvc and the coils are wired in paralell, then each sub is powered by its own channel on the jbl monoblock amp. This is what confuses me, the amp is monoblock powervalve series amp from JBL, but there are two sets of speaker terminals
In any case, each sub has a dedicated channel (even though its a mono amp
) Do you guys think the subs are being powered just right, underpowered or overpowered? I think they sound cool, but when I crank it to the point where the amp begins to have thoughts of distorting, it starts clipping
Im thinking the subs need more juice, anybody agree?
