All PalmOS MP3 players look to the SD card for the playlists.
I have a 256MB card for mine, which is about 1/3 full right now. I'll have it filled later this week. And the drain on the (rechargeable) battery is minimal.
My keyboard drains it faster than listening to music does.
Oh, and I've never lost data due to power failure. Ever.
Only once did I have to hard reset, and that was due to buggy shareware I DL'd.
