hdd advace is great, but i'm not about to spend

$30 + shipping (?) for the software ...
$30 + on a network adapter
$100 + on a HDD

and still not be able to play copied games. then i'd need the ...

slide card + boot cd and dvd, another $30 + shipping

i've had my flip top since the day it was released back in December 2002 and i've had no problems at all. this is coming from first hand experience, not some unknown internet horror story.

i dropped $40 (cover and boot discs) and it plays almost every game i can think of. the only issues you will have is that DVD9 games aren't burnable.

if you have the HDD loader, what happens when your HDD fills up? do you have to disconnect it and attach it to a PC, then burn the game files to a dvd-r? do you just have to delete games off the drive and call it a night? is there a way to FTP into your drive to take games off of it and store it on a pc?
